From the summit of Ulriken, you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of Bergen, the surrounding fjords, and the rugged mountains of the Norwegian coast. On a clear day, the view extends far out to sea, while the city lies picturesquely nestled far below. Whether after a strenuous hike up the Sherpa Stairs or a relaxing ride on the Ulriksbanen cable car, the view from the highest of the seven mountains is an absolute highlight and rewards every visitor with unforgettable impressions.

Serene atmosphere of silence and solitude. However, the path is pretty much non-existent and the terrain is quite tricky. I have sprained my ankle here. No regrets though.

Beautiful view from the Skåldalsnipa summit and the path up there is steep but firm. After that the terrain becomes more boggy and the path is not easy to find as it is heavily overgrown. However, it is mostly flat. (Waypoint 1 to 2) The rest is easy to do. We would only recommend the hike to the summit. Otherwise you need to have good shoes with you so that you don't get wet socks.

Relatively easy to reach top with a great view over the fjord. Some of the paths on the komoot map are difficult to find up here.

The Ulriken is higher than all other mountains in the immediate vicinity of Bergen. At an altitude of 643 meters above sea level, the view from the summit is absolutely wonderful 🤩🤩🤩.

I would walk down the stairs next time. The suggested route was borderline (for us). It was more climbing than hiking
