September 21, 2026, Scenic Pathway at Pointe Ramsay

Pointe Ramsay is a peaceful riverside pause along the Voie Verte Chelsea. The old rail corridor slips through greenery beside the Gatineau River. It’s a lovely stretch to slow down, listen to the water, and enjoy nice a pocket of nature.

Trail 51 is a flat, easy-going route with wide sections that make it pleasant to follow, especially in winter. Keep an eye out for chickadees near the birdfeeders along the way, and remember that this trail is shared with cross-country skiers, so avoid walking on the ski tracks when snow is down.

One of the dams along the Gatineau River. You can ride across though both the spillway and hydro dam are only one lane wide. Nice views regardless of the direction travelled. The highlight of the ride.
