Beautiful stream valley. The partly gravel, partly asphalt path is easy to walk.

At the top of the Shepherd's Wall you will find a pleasant restaurant of the same name, in the appearance of a medieval castle with an observation tower. Its white masonry contrasts nicely with the dark sandstone. Although the observation tower is permanently inaccessible and the view from it is not possible, the area around the restaurant and especially the terrace allow for the most beautiful views of Děčín and its surroundings. You will have the Elbe River with its bridge in the palm of your hand, as well as another of the city's landmarks - Děčín Castle. It is not by chance that this place is nicknamed "Nebíčko". The restaurant is open all week from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Děčín excursion restaurant with an eighteen-meter observation tower stands on a 150-meter rock on the left bank of the Elbe River. In the 19th century, it gained a reputation as the place with the most beautiful view of the city. The restaurant, including the observation tower, is currently undergoing reconstruction. The Shepherd's Wall in Děčín has always been a dominant feature of the city. After the end of sandstone mining at the end of the 19th century, a small wooden inn first stood here, which was replaced by a romantic "mansion" in 1905. However, the golden age of the "Shepherd's House" was interrupted by World War II; although the building was open, it slowly fell into disrepair. In the 1990s, an expensive repair was carried out, thanks to which the building acquired a fairy-tale character, but since then, due to frequent changes of owners, it has never been permanently accessible.
