The Kollau hiking trail leads through the Hamburg districts of Schnelsen, Niendorf, and Lokstedt. It begins at Wagrierweg and then runs along the Vielohgraben to its mouth in the Kollau, then continues downstream along the Kollau. At Vogt-Kölln-Straße, it continues approximately 200 meters further south from the bridge of the freight bypass railway, past the Wegenkampgraben, and after approximately 400 meters back to the Kollau. Shortly before the Kollau flows into the Tarpenbek, the Kollau hiking trail branches off from the railway embankment. After the confluence, a bridge leads to a hiking trail along the Tarpenbek.
