A beautiful rocky ruin with a great climb up the tower. You have a fantastic panoramic view and can then walk around the castle. It was open today, March 30, 2025.

The bivouac at the stalactite is also spacious and clean (not quite as big as the one at the Tausendstückstein). Contrary to reports, nothing drips here, even in wet/rainy weather.

Large overhanging bivouac, of course with a fireplace and accessories (in the rock crevices next to it), with benches and separate "compartments" for sleeping, everything very clean and tidy. Lots of inscriptions in the sandstone.

Holanský rybník is one of 23 ponds making up the system of Holanský rybník, which is located between Stvolinky and Zahrádky, southwest of Česká Lípa. Holanské Rybníky were created gradually from the 16th to the 17th centuries. Most of them are interconnected and fed by Bobří potok. The Holanské region lies in a picturesque landscape under the volcanic hills of Ronov and Vlhošť. The central ponds of this system are Dolanský and Holanský rybník. All ponds are for fish farming.

The ruins of Milčany II castle, also referred to as Vítkovec, stand on a site that, according to archaeological findings, has been inhabited since the end of the 14th century. From the beginning of the 15th century, the new castle is already mentioned in written sources. Since 1543, however, it has already been described as deserted. The last written records mention the castle in the 17th century. Only a part of the perimeter wall and the remains of ramparts and terrain irregularities have survived to this day. The remains have been protected as a cultural monument since 1958. A red tourist sign will lead you to the site.
