The komoot waypoint icon for this highlight is a bit confusing because it shows a bicycle, even though it’s actually a hiking highlight. I suspect the komoot algorithm for assigning icons was thrown off because the creator named it “South entrance to the bike path.” The trail is multiuse for pedestrians and bicyclists—but no horses.

Although this is the official northern trailhead for the Juno Trail, vehicle parking is not permitted at this location. Parking is available about a tenth of a mile to the north on Juno Trail road.

A nice small parking lot on the Southwest corner of Lake Marion Easy access to the North park with the bandshell and mountain bike trails. And to the East is the other big park with food, restrooms, beach, volleyball, etc.

This is the north trailhead for the Juno Trail, which wraps along the west shore of Lake Marion. The trail to the south is a paved bike path, and to the north you can ride through the park and boat launch via road.
