The Schiller National Museum is currently closed and is scheduled to reopen with a new exhibition at the end of June 2025. The old permanent exhibition, featuring the "Four Swabians" – Schiller, Hölderlin, Kerner, and Mörike – and Luise Duttenhofer's silhouettes, has moved to the Literaturmuseum der Moderne until May 18, 2025. The museum café is open Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the summer and from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the winter.
