A beautiful spa park with an interesting history. In the 1860s, it was founded by Count Felix von Königsdorff. There was a drinking hall and medicinal iodine-bromine brine springs. Today, the park itself is still beautiful - there is the historic Spa House, a concert shell, and fountains - a beautifully maintained place.

There are many such points along the Żelazny route. A good solution. Perfect for a short break.

The route 🗺️ on our side is really okay. One toilet for such a long section is a disaster.

The Iron Cycling Trail is a picturesque cycling route of about 55 km, running through the border of Poland and the Czech Republic (Silesia and Moravia). It leads mainly along the former railway line, which is why it is flat and asphalt - ideal for families with children. The route connects the town of Godów and Karvina. It is known for its good marking (but only on the Polish side), numerous rest areas and natural and historical attractions. I recommend riding on the GPX trail so as not to have problems on the Czech side 🙂

There are no parking spaces for bicycles. You can bring your bicycle inside and attach it to the wooden structure (there is plenty of space). The tower is divided into several levels.

The Karviná square is a quiet place with the atmosphere of a small Czech town. Here you will find a historic town hall, colorful townhouses and several cozy cafes ideal for a break during the route. It is a good place to stop during the Iron Cycling Trail trip - you can replenish your supplies, have a coffee and feel the local atmosphere. The surfaces around the square are paved, but you can easily get there by road bike.
