As of June 2025 the footpath has been locked off. You could probably still use it if you would want to. But we simply rode on the street.

We thought we would find a nice spot to camp here. Coincidentally, two other Germans thought the same. Croatia is when you drive 20 minutes into the middle of nowhere and still find Germans there. We are everywhere.

The bridge can also be crossed easily with saddlebags on the footpath. At least it is safer than crossing on the road.
