Zabok is an urban center and the very backbone of its cultural, sporting, educational and social life. The hills of Zabok nurtured one of the greatest Croatian author, in whose honor the Days of Ksaver Šandor Gjalski are held. On the foundations of the textile industry, the cornerstone of the industrialization of Zabok, with Milan Prpić as its founding father, stands reGenerator - a modern socio-cultural center.
