Ivanec parish is mentioned for the first time 1️⃣5️⃣4️⃣7️⃣. year. The reason for the late establishment of the parish is the absence of a parish church, and the reason for this was the ecclesiastical authority of the Ivano-vivi of Belje and their chapel of St. John the Baptist in Ivanec, which existed until 1674. The parish church of St. Mary Magdalene was built by Ladislav Erdödy and his wife, and it got its present form by rebuilding the older church. 💒

The path up and down was very, very steep, and on the way down, there were some slippery slopes. The hut at the top is only open on weekends and public holidays (and probably also on the day before a holiday). Good fitness is required.
