Text from the information board: "HISTORY OF THE CHURCH AND PARISH OF ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL. The Grodzisk market settlement, known as early as the 10th century, was a princely and later royal property. The church was probably built in 1534, funded by Queen Bona and a wealthy nobleman who had a hermitage there, where he spent penance for his riotous lifestyle. The Church of St. Michael the Archangel is the oldest surviving wooden church in the capital. It was renovated many times in later years, but retains its original architectural structure. It is single-nave with a gabled shingled roof and a wooden floor. In 1602, King Sigismund III Vasa granted the surrounding lands to the Bernardines, and the church remained under their management for approximately 250 years. After the dissolution of the Bernardine Order in 1864, the church came under the management of the parish. Our Lady of Loreto in Praga. By decree of September 28, 1958, Primate Stefan Wyszyński established this church as a branch of the parish of St. Isidore in Marki and granted it the right to maintain parish records. On July 1, 1975, the parish was established. The church houses a painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa, transferred in 1809 from the demolished Bernardine Church in Praga, a painting of St. Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr, and a painting of St. Michael the Archangel painted by Jan Molga. The church contains Baroque wooden statues of St. John of Nepomuk and St. Stanislaus Kostka, as well as two statues of the Bernadine Fathers. The pulpit contains Baroque sculptures of Our Lady, St. Joseph, and St. Anthony. Since 1977, Grodzisk has been administratively part of Warsaw. New housing estates are being built, and parishioners are increasing from all over Poland. Currently the parish has approximately 3,150 inhabitants (data from the Tax Office in Warsaw Targówek, March 2008)"

You can bypass it by taking the nearby path, you just have to bend down.

The chapel is still in use, there are candles. You can tell if the area is good by the fact that there are chapels everywhere.
