This place has been called "Bistro w Sienkiewiczówka" since its inception. You can buy a variety of drinks, soups, and simple main courses, usually cakes and sweets, ice cream, coffee, and tea, as well as several bottled beers. There are plenty of comfortable tables inside and out, a restroom, and it's tidy and welcoming. The owners are direct descendants of Henryk Sienkiewicz, whose historic residence is located right next door—a small palace with a museum you can visit. Next to the bistro, the owners also have a stud farm, which usually grazes in a visible paddock. This bistro hosts a variety of interesting guests; I once even witnessed guests arriving by helicopter. Seriously! :-) A nature trail begins next to the stud farm, leading through a beautiful and wild gorge to Mount Siniewska, from where you can descend 500 meters to a viewing platform with a sweeping view of the surrounding area. The Holy Cross and Łysa Góra have been places of worship for centuries, first pagan, and from the 12th century Roman Catholic. It is worth stopping here, because it is a true monument and a place with a considerable history.

An 8.5-kilometer climb to the viewpoint in Krajno from Bodzentyn, during which we overcome 190 m of elevation, with an average gradient of 2.4%. The road has been renovated and on a large section you can use a comfortable, smooth, asphalt bike path. At the end of the climb, great views of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains await us.
