The church is not the Asam - but the St. Arsatius Church in Ilmmünster! A jewel in the Ilm Valley with a great history. It is a beautiful church with a crypt where the bones of St. Arsatius rest. According to legend St. Arsatius, together with his brother Eustorgius, transferred the bones of the Holy 3 Kings from Constantinople to Milan. Here they were in the late 12th century a war booty of Frederick Barbarossa and transferred from Milan to Cologne, where they rest to this day.
