Up high, Lukomir is a beautiful village which time seems to have forgotten. Gravel tracks and footpaths in and out, the views of the surrounding mountains here are INCREDIBLE.

With good bike handling skills, good transmission and tires, it’s possible to ride almost everything of this section. With a pretty packed hardtail I had to push ~50m (when the bike is too heavy to push, you ride it…😅). But I wouldn‘t recommend this part, if it can be avoided.

A fairly rough gravel section with a short uphill, followed by a long, steep descent. We had fun on our touring bikes.

The small Nbem routes are good for mountain biking. They are empty and the surroundings are great.
