Taste the life of a castle during a candlelit dinner at the Château de Quintin, by candlelight. This flagship event of the Quintin calendar takes place in the summer. It is an original way to discover its furnished interiors. In addition to guided tours, the Château de Quintin presents a permanent exhibition on the "Wonders of our collections". Ball cards, salt and perfume bottles, fans, antique textiles and clothing, seals and miniatures... complete the tableware (glassware, silverware, porcelain...) and will show you the diversity of a family collection. The Château de Quintin is bordered by a park composed of French gardens and classified as Historic Monuments. You will be soothed by the balance of these gardens, called classical, with geometric lines, with their squares of lawn punctuated by boxwood, lines of hornbeams and curtains of lime trees. https://www.baiedesaintbrieuc.com/quintin/chateau-de-quintin/ Photo credit: Emmanuel Berthier

The neo-Gothic bell tower, a building of the 19th century, marks the Quintin landscape. The basilica was rebuilt in 1887 on the site of the old collegiate church. But it was in the 13th century that Lord Geoffroy I Botherel, returning from a crusade with the holy relic of the Belt of the Virgin, gave new impetus to this Marian site. This subject is illustrated in sculpture on the tympanum. To discover the gallery of reclining figures and the baptismal font, designed by Jeanne Malivel, a leading artist of Breton Art Deco. The church became a minor basilica in 1934. The great Pardon Notre-Dame-de-Délivrance takes place every year in May. Open every day. Nearby on the rue Notre-Dame, stop in front of the monumental fountain Notre-Dame-d'entre-les-Portes from the 15th century.
