Great little Café for a coffee and sweets at the end of the walk. Or the start, if you prefer to walk with a happy belly.

Less than 50 meters from the levada, you'll find the perfect spot to refuel, quench your thirst, refill your drinks, and, if you need to, even relieve yourself ;) They offer sandwiches, delicious pastries, and draft beer, all for such a low price that it's hardly worth taking out your wallet (though it's accepted, of course).

flat walk, if you walk this the other way around, you will have the Sunshine pub & grill for lunch, highly recommended, also for dinner (closed on Thursdays). Walked in mid-March 2024, the effect of the major fire in October 2023 is still clearly visible. It is a somewhat surreal image, many ferns with black trees and shrubs above them. Fortunately, some areas remain untouched here and there and the view of the ocean remains beautiful.
