The former school and prayer house in Oberschöna Bräunsdorf is unique in its architectural style in Saxony and extremely rare in all of Germany. The ground floor of this Baroque building, dating from 1722 and part of a former manor, was used for classes, while the upper floor was used for church services. The school was built in 1910 and expanded in 1927. School operations ended here in 2008, and the building has since been used as a residential building.
