Originally a castle farm. It is a large, almost closed farm from the 18th century with separate buildings arranged around a rectangular courtyard. It stands out very much in the landscape because the farm is painted white. A narrow path runs along the farm towards the church of Neerijse.

The IJse is a tributary of the Dijle. Its source is in the Zoniënwoud forest south of Brussels on the border of Sint-Genesius-Rode and Hoeilaart. In the valley of the IJse, from source to mouth, lie: Hoeilaart, Overijse, Huldenberg, Loonbeek and Neerijse. In the nature reserve de Doode Bemde, the IJse flows into the Dijle.

De Doode Bemde is anything but dead. This nature reserve along the Dijle river covers more than 250 hectares and, with its 9 kilometers of walking trails, is the most accessible nature reserve in Flemish Brabant. You walk through a mosaic of wet grasslands, swamp forests, reed fields, ponds, and small fields. The river meanders freely through its original bends and is regularly allowed to overflow its banks. This interplay of water and land creates a great variety of plants and animals. The name refers to 'unusable grasslands', but for nature, it is precisely a paradise. (Visit Vlaams-Brabant)

Watermill on the Winge, dating from before 1775 (oldest known mention). The year stone anno 1846 refers to the establishment of the residential house. The surroundings consist of the mill pond of the mill, a section of the Winge upstream and downstream and the surrounding meadows. The stream was straightened in the 1970s, significantly increasing its flow rate. Upstream, the surroundings consist mainly of meadow, downstream is the mill race with surrounding arable land.
