August 10, 2025 - Easy to reach, the climb from the road is a bit steep but doable even with strollers. I don't recall a proper bridge to cross the stream. On the side of the cabin, there's space to set up picnic blankets near the stream, allowing even children to easily reach the stream.

Private cabin located just above the dirt road that is the path to follow. Next to the path there is also a seat and a small fenced area with a statue of the Madonna

Characteristic Alpine hut recently renovated. Although private, it remains a characteristic element of the territory

Definitely a good parking lot (like any street side parking lot) from which to start your excursion. Being at an altitude of 1300 m it gives you an advantage in climbing and allows you to set more ambitious goals. In my opinion, the cost to be incurred of 5 euros per day in the period from 1 April to 31 October is questionable. I am not discussing the fact of having to pay per se, money that I am happy to leave for the maintenance of the car park and the place in general, I am discussing the fact that neither in Lizzola nor in Valbondione are the investments in land maintenance tangible, first of all streets. Example: with a 2 euro toll in Plassa (Zambla) and Pizzino you have access to a road essentially maintained for hikers and shepherds of significant length, in both cases well maintained roads, in this case the roads lead to residential houses and villas or to the ski lifts and moreover they are not well maintained (with holes and depressions), so I ask myself "my 5 euros?"

Parking is the main problem in the town of Valbondione (about 900m above sea level), very popular in summer for the possibility of hiking in the Orobie. In 2000, the payment of € 5 is required wherever you park
