Year of Construction and Location The St. Sebaldus Chapel was rebuilt in 1697 on a small hill on the northeastern outskirts of Helfenbrunn. According to tradition, it stands above the burial site of three crusaders. One of the most important Baroque field churches in the district It is dedicated to Saint Sebaldus of Nuremberg, a patron saint otherwise found in Upper Bavaria only in Egling near Wolfratshausen, and is one of the most important Baroque field churches in the district. With the remnants of Baroque painting on the outer wall and the curved roof, it is also one of the most beautiful field chapels in the entire Freising district.

Coming from two sides, there is a good climb here - all the nicer if the municipality remembers to put up a bench for resting with a beautiful view of the Ampertal ;)
