Just to note that this small section of trailway has some looser stones which will be unsuitable for slimmer (road bike) tyres but the further you travel West towards Ringwood, the surface becomes more forest like and therefore more pleasant to ride on.

If you're in Lower Waterditch (Christchurch), perhaps stop by at Ellies Farm Shop & Cafe. It's the perfect spot to relax with a drink and maybe indulge in a delicious Scotch Egg. Note the menu maybe small, however the produce is delicious. The courtyard has plenty of seating for you to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Plus, there's ample space for parking your bicycle. It's a great little pitstop!

Be prepared for pot holes, and be careful if it has been raining. can easily damage a rim or pop a tyre if you go in them. apart from that, a great bit to ride your bike at.

This section is a no cycle zone, I've never seen it enforced, guess i've just been lucky riding this section. I do dismount when getting close to the coastguard building at the top.
