The Knöpfelsteiche are located east of the Drachenschlucht, directly on the hiking trail towards Elfengrotte. In total, four small ponds await you here, some of which – depending on the season – are almost completely covered by aquatic plants. Tip: Here at the upper pond, there is a beautiful covered bench – ideal for a short break or a picnic. With a bit of luck, you can observe ducks or even fish, including carp that have been spotted before. Note: Please do not feed the animals. Food scraps can disturb the ecological balance of the ponds, pollute the water, and harm the animals.

A beautifully designed entrance to the Dragon Gorge. But beware ⚠️ The gorge is sometimes closed due to icy conditions. In that case, you can take a detour via a path to the right and above.
