The "Yellow House" is the so-called Barz’sche Haus, built in 1905/1906. The Nauen master builder Kluge achieved an urban and architectural masterpiece here. Despite the various stylistic elements, he achieved a pleasant interplay through a uniform window and color design. It remains the most impressive building in the old town and dominates Mittelstraße. The entire building complex has been extensively renovated and is a listed building. Quelle: https://nauen.eu/das-barzsche-haus/

The former post office building was erected in 1893 and was initially privately owned. In 1920, the Reichspost (Imperial Post) took over the property. On April 16, 1924, one of Germany's first automatic long-distance telephone systems went into operation here. After modernizations in the entrance area during the GDR era and the later relocation of postal services to the old town, the old post office was closed as a postal service point. Since 2020, the listed building has housed the "Alte Post Nauen" room rental.

The Catholic church was built from 1905 to 1906 as a Neo-Romanesque, cruciform basilica by J. Welz from brick. In the apse there are draped figures of Mary and Joseph from South Tyrol. The draped figures date from around 1740.

In January 2007, the city of Nauen presents the water tower as the monument of the month, which was part of the city's water supply system for around 80 years, thus significantly contributing to the city's economic development. The renovation of the individual monument was recently completed and represents, in a figurative sense, an outstanding testimony to the urban development of the 20th century.
