The path here is not a hiking highlight for me, although I really like the lake. But this is boring for me to walk on. It goes straight ahead forever on the wide path, the lake on the left, cordoned off except for a few benches (used for drinking water), the forest on the right. When the weather is nice, there are crowds of people, especially cyclists in groups. So this "cycle highway" is not a highlight on a hike for me, more of a means to an end, until you end up on nicer, quieter paths, which do exist!
