The Diana Fountain in Donaueschingen is a fascinating monument, closely linked to the city's identity as the source of the Danube. The Diana Fountain was built in 1904 in the Neo-Baroque style. At the center stands the figure of the hunting goddess Diana, flanked by two angel figures (putti), symbolically embodying the two source rivers of the Danube.

The Orangerie is a listed jewel from the 19th century. Originally, it was built – as is typical for orangery buildings – to overwinter sensitive plants (like citrus trees). It impresses with its large glass fronts, which provide a light-flooded, Mediterranean ambiance.

... former riding stable building in Donaueschingen, Schwarzwald-Baar district in Baden-Württemberg. - The entrance gate with the two horse heads and coat of arms is interesting... For those interested: - The Marstall building was formerly a state stud farm – horses for the entire principality were bred here. - The first Marstall, however, was located on the other side of the palace (today's palace park). - It was built by "Count Heinrich VIII von Fürstenberg" and expanded in 1729 by "Joseph Wilhelm Ernst von Fürstenberg-Stühlingen." - His son, "Josef Wenzel von Fürstenberg-Stühlingen," finally had the Marstall relocated to the other side of the palace in 1779, and the palace park was built on the old site. - Ultimately, from 1806 onward, the Marstall lost its significance as a state stud farm. The railway, and later the automobile, became the means of transportation for longer distances. - From 1875 to 1879, the Marstall was rebuilt and adapted to new needs. https://www.suedkurier.de/region/schwarzwald/donaueschingen/Wenn-im-Marstall-der-Pferdeduft-weht;art372512,9810765 Current use: - for the "Princely House Polo Tournament" (Season Opener Polo Cup) - free admission - during Advent, the historic building becomes a "Christmas Dream" (admission fee) https://www.fuerstenberg-weihnachtswelt.de/news-detailansicht/weihnachtliches-strahlen-im-marstall.html
