The "Park of Peace" was created in 1958/1959. At approximately 5,000 square meters, it is the smallest park in Reichenbach. Between autumn 2000 and spring 2001, the park was extensively renovated and redesigned. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the air raid on Reichenbach, a memorial stone was dedicated on March 21, 2005, for the 161 victims of the air raid of March 21, 1945. Every year on March 21, a public memorial event with a wreath-laying ceremony takes place here. Source: https://www.reichenbach-vogtland.de/kultur-freizeit/parkanlagen/park-des-friedens/

The station is a sad sight for travelers - not exactly inviting... The station hall is open (so that the elevator can be used), but without any other function (toilet, information... none) and the walls are smeared.

The Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary has been on Marienstrasse since 1927 (first chapel in 1877). It was built by the well-known architect Rudolf Ladewig, who also designed the water tower and the building of the higher textile college in the functionalist style. A green oasis in the center of Reichenbach is the Trinitatispark, which was redesigned in 2008/2009. Its unusual play equipment, the scissor swing, the spinneret and the pincushion, are reminiscent of the tradition of the textile industry in our city. In order to do justice to the new atmosphere in the almost 14,000 m² complex, it was renamed in 2009 from "Alter Friedhof" - the name goes back to the use of the site until around 1900 as the cemetery of the Trinity Church - into "Trinitatispark".
