The two-story town hall is located in the town center near the market square (Am Markt 1). The listed building was constructed in 1903 as a doctor's residence for Dr. Franz Meyer. Both the building and its interior exhibit classic Art Nouveau features. In 1954, the building was acquired by the then-municipality of Dinklage; it has served as the town hall since January 1, 1955. Only a small part of Dinklage's municipal administration is housed in the town hall, namely the main office and the registry office. The mayor's office and all other departments are located in branch offices. There is also no room for a council chamber in the town hall; the town council meets regularly in a restaurant or other public buildings. A motorized siren is installed on the roof of the building for audible alerting of the fire department or warning of the public.

A relic from the time when this "bicycle highway" was still a narrow-gauge railway line between Dinklage and Lohne. Further information about the former narrow-gauge railway line can be found on Wikipedia: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kleinbahn_Lohne–Dinklage

It's actually just a normal wooden bridge spanning the Hopener Mühlenbach stream. What's special about it is that without the involvement of Dinklage companies, this bridge probably wouldn't exist at this location—hence the name "Sponsor Bridge" and a sign commemorating the companies involved in its construction and sponsorship.
