Very beautiful view and nice footpath on the west and south shore of the lake. In the summer of 2026, this western half of the lake was completely dry.

Easily accessible from the Obersee. Some scrambling sections, free hands are helpful. Fantastic view at the top! Also recommended to go over to Weggis, however, surefootedness and a head for heights are mandatory! Narrow and sloping. Both are also quite doable with an experienced dog.

Small bridge on the south bank of the Obersee leads over a (currently dry) small stream. The footpath around the Obersee is very beautiful, completely passable without problems for hikers and bikers.
