What a wonderful, cozy and original center Assen has. Walking along these canals you occasionally see a nice ship or boat. But as far as I'm concerned, it's mainly the houses (both new and old) that make an impression. Those original houses make it look like a kind of mini-Delft! It is only terribly busy here during the TT, but the other 51 weeks of the year are just pleasant
