Nestled in one of the highest parts of the town of Castropol, this viewpoint located next to the church of Santiago Apóstol, has spectacular views of the Ría del Eo, the Linera cove and its surroundings. In addition, from this point we can contemplate the riverside towns of Figueras and Ribadeo, the Puente de los Santos, the Molín das Acías, the Linera, the islet of Turullon, Salías, etc. An enameled lava table will help us to interpret the wonderful landscape that we can contemplate.

It remained in operation until 1972. Currently, part of the original machinery is preserved, which, like its facilities, are abandoned.
