The place is highly recommended, but it can get very crowded very quickly on sunny days and weekends.

The beautiful connection through the valley to the gliding airfield.

Yes, once you're here... but the trails on the last 1.5km or so were really borderline for me: steep, narrow, overgrown, extremely tight curves, and then there were four large fallen tree trunks. I had to unbuckle everything from my bike and somehow hoist the bike over, sweating and panting, sob! But otherwise, great!!!

Crossing the Neckar Bridge, you can easily head toward the city center. On the right bank of the Neckar River, you'll find the TG Nürtingen 1859 e. V. (Tennis Club Nürtingen 1859 e. V.) with a very good Greek restaurant in the clubhouse (Restaurant Neckarau). It's worth making a reservation or stopping by for a bite to eat. The Greek restaurant is very popular with Nürtingen residents.
