Opening hours : Sunday - Thursday 12h - 16h The organ in the church in Oederquart was built by Schnitger between 1678-82 using older pipework with three manuals. Johann Daniel Busch added an independent pedal in 1781. Around 1864/65, a thorough renovation was carried out by Johann Hinrich Röver from Stade, which led to the loss of Schnitger's pipes, except for the visible tin prospect pipes. These were preserved through a fortunate circumstance during World War I and did not have to be handed in. Around 1971, an organ in the neo-baroque style with two manuals and 12 registers was built behind the prospect of Schnitger, incorporating the prospect pipes, which unfortunately did not do justice to the visual impression of the organ. The quality of the remaining historical substance of the organ was worth a restoration and reconstruction of the original Schnitger organ by workshop Rowan West. A visit is recommended.

The St. Andreas Geversdorf parish belongs to the Am Dobrock united parish and currently has approx. 450 members. The village of Geversdorf is located directly on the Oste river and is idyllically beautiful. The large bascule bridge over the river connects the parts of the village on both sides of the Oste. In the heart of the village, elevated on a "wurt" (raised ground), the church, visible from afar, shapes the entire village scenery. Among the special features of the church community is the work with children, including the "Kinderfrühstück" (children's breakfast). Outside of school holidays, it takes place on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:30 AM. The St. Andreas Geversdorf parish also has a lot to offer musically with its brass choir. Rehearsals currently take place every Monday at 6 PM in the community center at Ellhornstraße 2. All interested citizens are invited to participate. The church is beautiful to look at.
