The route between Aken and Dessau is one of the most beautiful tours along the Elbe. The path leads from the ferry in Aken (ferry house with restaurant) to the Kornhaus (excursion restaurant in Bauhaus style) in Dessau. It is pure nature, there are many beautiful views of the Elbe with light sandbanks. The opposite restaurant in Brambach can be reached by a shuttle service. This route is highly recommended.

The Dessau Town Hall Square (Dessauer Rathausplatz) is a central hub for the city of Dessau-Roßlau and houses the Dessau Town Hall, which is considered a landmark of the city. The history of the town hall dates back to 1336, when it was transferred by Princes Albrecht and Waldemar. The town hall has undergone several significant renovations and extensions, including the extension carried out in 1882/83 and the holiday rooms built in 1901. Despite the numerous additions and renovations, the space was no longer sufficient, and in 1899, the foundation stone for the new building was laid. The new building was completed in 1901 and is an example of Art Nouveau architecture.

The post mill on Mühlberg hill in Krosigk has a checkered history. Mills have existed in Krosigk since approximately the 15th century. The original mill was destroyed in a fire in the 1920s. This mill came from Gollma and was brought to Krosigk in 1995. It was destroyed in a storm in 2007 and rebuilt by 2010. Guided tours, including those of the Krosigk watermill, can be booked through the Krosigk Mill Association. https://krosigk-kaltenmark.de/Muehlen/

The post mill on the Mühlenberg is not the original mill; it was destroyed in a fire in the 1920s, leaving only the millstone and foundation intact. Therefore, the Mühlenberg was reforested starting in 1950, and the current mill stands in the forest. This mill originated in Gollma and was brought to Krosigk in 1995. It was destroyed in a storm in 2007 and rebuilt by 2010. Source: https://www.tag-des-offenen-denkmals.de/denkmal/cly1b9p77000kl60csw4nyego
