Very wide and flat hiking trail with easily passable cycle gates when the fences are closed to Oberlech or Zug

The path is easy to ride, although beginners should dismount and push their bikes in some places. There were very few hikers on the trail when we were there, so if you say thank you nicely when you pass, it will remain a combined hiking and mountain bike trail in the future.

A stop at the Hochalphütte is a must and gives you strength for the remaining meters of altitude and the sometimes rapid descent.

A somewhat challenging long steep descent. The view of the mountains and the valley when you start at the top is wonderful. And the descent is not boring 😉😉Experience with braking techniques is an advantage
