I don't normally ride gravel roads very often, but the route from Ermengerst to Weitnau is fantastic. The many forested areas make it ideal for warm days. It's surprisingly well-maintained, especially in contrast to the poorly maintained Iller Cycle Path. However, from December to around the beginning of April, it's impassable due to snow. I've tried it several times when I was cycling to go skiing.
