The last 500 meters or so up to Rabenleite are almost a straight climb through the forest. Initially, a steep carpet of roots, then the climb is easy, especially with an electric power amplifier. The descent is a thrilling downhill!

The Trausnitz reservoir is idyllically located in the Pfreimd valley and is surrounded by wooded banks. Above the lake rises Trausnitz Castle, which dates back to the 12th century and is now used as a youth hostel.

Part of the "Pumped Storage Power Plant Group Jansen" The high storage facility is a control current power plant (grid stability) that takes care of 5% of Bavaria's needs. Relatively small volume (1.5 million cubic meters) compared to Austrian power plants. Asphalt circular path (1.3 km) with two access situations from the parking lot (slightly uphill asphalt road and stairs). Farm roads and single trails enable a good running route from Tännesberg in the direction of Trausnitz - interesting ascent via the Barbara chapel (in memory of the injured construction worker) - from the high storage facility (Großenschwand) in the direction of Weinrieth and Tanzmühle to the Kainzmühlsperre - via Voitsberg and Kleinschwand it then becomes a beautiful 20s - and you also saw the entire power plant group. (and walked a few meters in altitude)
