A lovely garden to relax in with a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. However, the Dutch owners are only open in the summer, and then only on Sundays.

Hiking

The high house was part of the Nienborg ring castle complex built in 1198. Today you can celebrate celebrations and weddings in a historical atmosphere at the Hohen Haus.

If you want to visit the High House without a party, you have good chances on the day of the open monument, because the High House usually also opens its doors to visitors.

The High House was built on the site of the former Nienborg Castle. The castle was founded around 1198 and destroyed in 1593 during the Spanish-Dutch War. The core of the house dates back to the 14th century, when it was the "only stone house" in Nienborg. It is owned by a Dutch family foundation and is partly used as a café. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burg_Nienborg
