The ruins of the old Zamoyski paper mill, mentioned by a board on the educational path running next to the facility: these are the ruins of a large industrial plant from the 17th century under the Zamoyski family. During the years of the Duchy of Warsaw and the Kingdom of Poland, the plant was leased by Lejbuś Kahan, and then by Cała Waxa - the owner of the Hebrew printing house in Józefów. It produced 80% of the paper in the Lublin Governorate. Two floods (1848 and 1870) and a fire (1883) contributed to its decline.
