The rope tower from the 15th century served as a prison for many years. Like the other towers in the suburb of the hospital, it is a shell tower, the masonry of which is open on the city-facing side. This design was designed to prevent the tower from being used as a fortress against the city if it fell into enemy hands.

City wall of Weil der Stadt. In the city center there are many small shops (ice cream parlor / bakery / bookstore / small restaurants / flower shops etc.) that invite you to shop or to get inspiration.
