You need some stamina to get through. From Mixnitz you can only continue on foot, 1.5 hours, approx. 400 m to the entrance to the gorge. Then on about 1400 footbridge, over 115 bridges and 79 ladders, 350 m steep upwards. From the end of the gorge another 200 cm to the mountain hut "The Good Shepherd". The way back on another route, steeply downhill to Mixnitz, takes another 2.5 hours. For me one of the most spectacular gorge climbs in recent years.
