The ascent from the valley to the castle complex is definitely worthwhile. Those who are not so good on foot can approach the castle from the direction of Hönningen. There is a parking lot directly in front of the castle gate.

The "Eifel-Blick" Bergfried Reifferscheid, like all the "Eifel-Blick" I've visited so far, is a perfect vantage point with a distant view. From up here you can enjoy a great view of the castle town of Reifferscheid. The ascent from the valley to the castle complex is definitely worthwhile. If you are not that good on foot, you have the opportunity to visit the castle from Hönningen. There is a parking lot directly in front of the castle gate.
