This very moving park is dedicated to the memory of the 21,000 Polish citizens from the intelligentsia murdered in 1940 by the police of the Soviet Union. They mostly disagreed with communist ideology. This is the Katyń massacre.
To remember 100 memory oaks were planted. It is a place of meeting, rest and reflection open to all.
