A real surprise in Sprey on the Spreeradweg: The small wooden church in Sprey, built in 1780 completely without nails. The altar should be even older. There is a telephone number at the church if you would like to visit it. Since it was lunchtime, we did not want to disturb anyone. In front of the church are benches where you can take a break.

Sprey, Upper Sorbian Sprjowje, is one of the smallest districts of the eastern Saxon community of Boxberg / O.L with about 70 inhabitants.
