The parish church of St. Egidius towers majestically with its typical real tip in front of the Laudenbacher castle ruins above the village. Built in 1613 by Prince-Bishop Julius Echter, the choir was rebuilt in 1845.
In 1988 the interior of the church was renovated and refurbished. Figures from the previous church furnishings were integrated.
Large wooden figures from Oberammergau (Mary, Joseph, John the Baptist and Aegidius) greet you from the walls.
The church is only open for church services.
