At the beginning of a path along Priemstraat and on the corner of a field, two linden trees flank a wayside cross. They are candelabra-shaped summer lindens, beautifully situated atop a field. Visible from afar, they are a beacon in the landscape.

In front of this small sacred monument in the shape of a crucifix, which rises above the fields and meadows at this rest area, I would like to offer a short thought by the writer Otto Wilhelm Ullmann for meditative contemplation:
