Hiking
It was planned after the Italian unification and opened in 1868.
At its center stands the monument to Camillo Benso di Cavour, created by the sculptor Aristodemo Costoli.
Two reliefs on the pedestal commemorate the Congress of Paris of 1856 and the founding of the Kingdom of Italy.
With its trees, flower beds, and wide paths, the Piazza is a pleasant place for a break in the middle of the city today.
