Montcabrier is a magnificent bastide in Quercy. The word bastide refers to the word bastion. It is a village on a promontory which wished to protect itself by taking the height, and by surrounding itself with defensive walls.
This beautiful village has a superb church in its northern part.
There are only 300 inhabitants in the village.
