Hiking
The lock of the Pont de Flandre is still a first-rate structure since, today, it operates according to the most advanced technological methods. Thanks to a remote management program, the lock keepers can control the other locks on the canal remotely. In particular, they ensure the exchange of information and instructions with users, the visual control of locks and the control of maneuvers. It has its equivalent at the other end of the canal with the Briche lock, in Saint-Denis.
