An obelisk commemorating the victims of a camp for Jewish women from several countries (Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Hungary) operating from mid-September 1944 to mid-January 1945.
Jewish women were used to build fortifications around Toruń. During the camp's liquidation, the Germans murdered approximately 150 women who were unable to march to the Stutthof concentration camp.
The obelisk was unveiled on June 13, 2017.
